With the advent of the hot summer days, it is a pleasant thing to hide in the room to blow air conditioners or to have a cold drink.
Refrigerant knowledge
Refrigerant, also known as refrigerant, refrigerant, and snow, is a medium used in various heat engines to complete energy conversion. These materials typically increase power with a reversible phase change, such as gas-liquid phase change.
The refrigerants widely used in compression refrigerants are ammonia, freon and hydrocarbons. According to the chemical composition, refrigerants can be classified into five types: inorganic compound refrigerants, freons, saturated hydrocarbon refrigerants, unsaturated hydrocarbon refrigerants, and azeotropic refrigerants.
According to the condensing pressure, the refrigerant can be classified into three types: high temperature (low pressure) refrigerant, medium temperature (medium pressure) refrigerant, and low temperature (high pressure) refrigerant.
Commonly used Freon refrigerants are R12, R22, R502 and R1341a, as other types of refrigerants have now been deactivated or disabled.
Freon 12 (CF2CL2, R12): It is one of the most widely used Freon refrigerants. It is widely used in small and medium-sized food storage, household refrigerators, and refrigeration equipment such as water and road refrigeration transportation.
Freon 22 (CHF2CL, R22): It is one of the most widely used Freon refrigerants, mainly used in household air conditioners and low temperature refrigerators.
Freon 502 (R502): R502 is an azeotropic solution in which R12 and R22 are mixed at a percentage of 51.2% and 48.8%.
Freon 134a (C2H2F4, R134a): is a relatively new type of refrigerant with an evaporation temperature of -26.5°C.
Commonly used refrigerants are stored and transported through tanks, which are used to ship liquid cargoes such as sprinklers, oils, liquid foods, and chemicals. It is mainly composed of a liquid tank and a frame. Liquid tanks are oval or nearly spherical and have a double-layer structure. The inner wall is made of stainless steel; or made of other rigid materials, but a layer of epoxy resin is required to prevent the corrosion of liquid cargo. The outer wall is insulated. There is a round loading port on the top of the tank and a unloading valve at the bottom of the tank. There are several types of high-pressure liquid tanks, low-pressure liquid tanks, insulation tanks, and tanks with heating devices. The frame is made of high-strength steel and the tank is placed in the middle of the frame. The handling, loading, unloading, and storage of tank containers require certain specialized sites and special fire safety equipment.
There is a corner bearing frame that protects and lifts around the tank. The outer frame size of the tank is exactly the same as the size of the international standard 20 container (length 20 feet, width: 8 feet, height: 8 feet 6 inches). Can be used for road, rail and water transportation. It can load fluid cargo up to 14300 to 31,000 liters (or even larger).
Refrigerant inspection process
1. Inspection category and cycle: The periodic inspection of the tanks of the tanks is divided into annual inspection and comprehensive inspection. The annual inspection is conducted once a year; the safety status is 1-2, the comprehensive inspection is checked every 5 years; the safety status is 3, and the comprehensive inspection is checked every 2.5 years.
2. Preparation before inspection: Tanks carrying flammable or suffocating media. The media in the tank must be discharged and cleaned. Residual liquid (gas) treatment, neutralization and disinfection, cleaning, steam purging, ventilation replacement, etc. Sampling analysis, the analysis results must meet the requirements of the relevant standards. And measure the oxygen content in the gas, the oxygen content is 18% to 23% (volume ratio) is qualified, the standard personnel enter the tank; the surface to be inspected must be thoroughly cleaned, the surface that needs to be non-destructively tested should expose the metal Gloss; inspection lighting should not exceed 24V, the cable introduced into the tank should be well insulated, grounding is reliable; personnel entering the tank operation, there should be special personnel supervision.
3. Annual Inspection Contents and Requirements: Annual inspection items for tank containers, including tank container data review, tank appearance inspection, tank container attachment inspection, insulation inspection, attachment inspection, safety attachment inspection, assembly inspection, resistance Pressure test (if necessary) and air tightness test.
4. Comprehensive inspection content and requirements: The comprehensive inspection project includes all the contents of the annual inspection of tank tanks, structural inspection and geometrical dimensions inspection, emergency shut-off valve pressure test, wall thickness measurement, surface defects and burial defect detection, tank outer surface Paint inspection and strength check, etc.
